Artists in Residence
Case Study: Santikos Collection
The Skiathos Princess Hotel wanted a campaign that would attract a creative audience, something that would offer their guests an added value activity and would create some social media buzz. We launched the Artist in Residence.
With such a beautiful island the path towards art was chosen and two fabulous influencers identified. Lucy Kent and Phoebe Dickinson. Two life long friends, one burning passion for art and such amazing talent. They also run highly engaged social feeds and are two of a new breed of artists who’s audience follows as much of what they do online, as they do in the galleries and studio.
The result was a 5 day Artist in Residence workshop at the hotel with Lucy and Phoebe offering painting masterclasses, 1-2-1 tuition and sharing their experiences with their online audience throughout their residency including 5 attending UK media.
The campaign gained over 4000 engagements and over 109,500 social impressions on the artists Instagram alone. Combined with Facebook, Pinterest, owned content channels, media social and resulting media coverage the campaign achieved visibility of over a 350,000 organic impressions.
A huge part of the promotion process was targeted content marketing which during the lead up to the event reached over 374,500 a threefold increase in direct traffic to the client website.
All combined, the campaign reached an audience of over 650,000 people. Not bad for a boutique hotel hidden somewhere in the Greek Islands.
